It was with great sorrow that the choir learned of the passing of Eva Wu in September of this year, shortly after rehearsals had started. Dr. N. Eva Wu joined the Downtown Singers 11 years ago. She was a soprano who had a passion for singing and a smile that lit up the room. She will be greatly missed.

It is our honor to dedicate this year's Messiah performance in her memory.
